My Professional Statement

My approach to medicine is grounded in the principle of first, do no harm. Medicine has the capacity to heal and prevent illness, but I remain mindful that treatments also carry potential risks, side effects, and broader impacts that must always be carefully considered.

I am a thoughtful and methodical clinician who values a calm, considered approach to care. I believe in listening closely to my patients and taking the time to understand their concerns in full before making recommendations. As Epictetus reminds us, we have two ears and one mouth so that we may listen more than we speak, and I strive to bring this philosophy into every consultation.

I have a strong interest in Family Medicine and Chronic Disease Management, and I am committed to supporting patients across all stages of life. I enjoy building long-term therapeutic relationships, with a focus on prevention, continuity of care, and helping patients manage complex or ongoing health conditions in a practical and sustainable way.

My practice is patient-centred at its core. While I can provide evidence-based information and clinical recommendations, I believe healthcare decisions should ultimately rest with the patient, as they are the ones who live with the outcomes. I respect each individual’s autonomy and expect that shared respect in return, working together to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
